1. What is Womego.com for you – the reader?
Womego.com is an aggregator of local and regional women’s magazines and their content that are delivered to your desktop, laptop or tablet in a matter of minutes. You city or region may have a local women’s magazine that touches on your issues or ideas, you’re lucky. Many regions around the country do not have this and need this – this is where Womego.com shines. We bring the information, news, ideas, issues and thoughts of the day to readers who want to simply know more.
Womego.com works with hundreds of women’s magazine publishers around the country to deliver this content, but we can’t do it without you. We need you to promote articles, content to the people who want it and who knows better than their friends, neighbors and family?
2. Do I have to pay for Womego.com?
Womego.com is a free site for readers and visitors. When you join Womego.com as a member, that is free also.
3. Why Should I Join Womego.com? (you can join here)
It costs you nothing to join Womego.com. Being a member allows you deeper access to our content; the ability to post comments on articles and blog posts and maybe even get your own blog with Womego.com. You become more than just a name on a database, you are a member of a community that works, plays and thinks together. You are never alone with Womego.com.
4. How can I submit content on Womego?
We accept content several ways:
A. Because this is a group community effort, we encourage you to contact the Publisher/Publication nearest you and begin a relationship with them. Your idea not only will end up on Womego but perhaps in their publication as well Go here to find yours.
B. Contact Womego with your story and idea. We love to highlight those who make our communities a better place to live.
C. Leave a brief comment on articles that inspire you.
D. Join Womego's Facebook Fan Page and insert ideas and links anytime.
E. Join Womego's LinkedIn Community and post conversation starters or respond to others.
5. Commenting Guidelines at Womego.com
Be civil. We expect to have disagreements; our only request is that you argue politely in a way that wouldn’t embarrass your Grandmother. If you have facts to back up your statements, please link to them in your comments.
No selling in the comment sections. Womego.com will consider it spam and remove it. Link to your site only if the conversation naturally would flow there, but otherwise, please save selling for your own website or blog.
6. Social Media Links
Womego.com is a Social Media hub on the internet. You can “fan” our entire website, “Like” or “Recommend” just an article or post; you can “Tweet” our articles and posts and you can link to them on your blog and LinkedIn accounts. We also have a RSS feed available in the header. Womego.com recommends FeedDemon.com as your reader.
