Adventist Hinsdale Hospital is proud to announce the foundation and mission of Pain Management Center of Excellence being driven by the medical director Dr.A. Elborno

The Pain Center of Excellence is more than a successful pain management clinic. A center of excellence integrates a very challenging medical discipline, a unique patient care philosophy, and a personal commitment to excellence. A center of excellence has characteristics and processes that set it a part from a typical pain management practice, and is based on the following principles:

Increase the visibility of pain management as a discipline within the healthcare industry.

Educate and inform the general public about the problems and solutions of chronic pain.

Provide the highest quality, state-of the art medical care to chronic pain patients.

Deliver medical treatment in an empathetic, caring and humane manner.

Organize the center’s systems for patient convenience.

Arrange the center’s facility for the patient’s ease of use and privacy.

Create a team of health care professionals dedicated to chronic pain management.

Promote innovative approaches of services and products to assist patient recovery in multiple aspects of their lives.

Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Pain Center of Excellence is regionally recognized as the premier treatment facility for chronic pain management. With continued achievement of high quality standards, it is evolving as a model and reference point for developing pain management practices. A center of excellence would be the lifeline to patients desperate for understanding, encouragement and personal success. In addition, we are striving for Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s pain management center to meet the exceedingly vast needs of chronic pain suffers in one location- resulting in a pain management center offering a seamless continuum of treatment for the patient.

With this exciting growth and expansion of services, we as the Adventist Hinsdale Hospital’s Pain Center of Excellence, welcome input from our patients. Wonderful updates of the physical structure, which aesthetically enhanced the Center were completed in September 2007.
